I've had a 3DS since early 2010, and I haven't really used it since then.. The only reason I haven't sold it is for this game. I've had the some of the best video game memories with the GameCube and Wild World games!

The 3DS released on Mars 27th 2011. :/

A week left?
I am sure I will get a couple of days early from shopto.

Since I have 3DS capture card installed, I will be recording live from the start of my animal crossing "life" :)

Anyone interested to do commentary with me while we play together in my town or your town, PM me for 3DS FC.
(video will be posted on youtube. high quality.. recorded with capture board)

I can't hold back the excitement. For the past few months, I've been ignoring everything Animal Crossing, in order to not go crazy while waiting for localization. But, now, it's impossible to ignore everyone's hype, so you know what? CHOO-CHOO! TIME TO BOARD THIS HYPE TRAIN!!! ALLLLLLL ABOARD!!!!!!

I won't get mine for TWO DAYS. So I'm thinking of buying the eshop release as well, and giving the hard copy to a friend... I dunno.

I swung by Best Buy today since I was out on the town anyways, and sure enough, my store didn't break street date. Unfortunate, but predictable. Generally, someone like Best Buy breaking street date is either an accident or the product of someone really wanting to get their store screwed over.

I'm curious: for anyone that has preordered from Amazon before, do they normally get it delivered by the release date, or do they ship it on the release date?

One year, I had Prime, and I got the game I preordered, day of release. When I wasn't a Prime member, I got the game two days after release. I don't know if being a Prime member has to do with anything, or it was just random.

I noticed something about release date delivery for Prime members, and seeing as I'm currently a Prime member for free for six months (yay being a college student), I should hopefully be seeing it on release day then. Woo! I just wasn't sure due to the fact that I still had to select my shipping speed when pre-ordering.
