>Good: A solid game that definitely has an audience. Might lack replay value, could be too short or there are some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun. Check out more reviews or the Destructoid score guide.

>There's plenty of fun and silliness to be had in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and obsessive fans will likely find the extra content, however fundamentally familiar, to be endearing and laudable. It's a good little game, but it's nowhere near as special as it used to be, and those hoping for more flexibility and interaction from their new political careers will feel let down by what is, ostensibly, just more goalpost shifting and further excuses to get you to shake bananas off trees.

How is it a bad review?

1) Replay value? You mean like, once you beat the game and play it again on a harder difficulty? Did he even play ACNL?
2) Nowhere near as special as it used to be. Of course, since with every new Animal Crossing that comes out they NEVER add new, interesting features/quirks. It's all the same, and it has been since the Gamecube days. Right.
3) Feel let down by our new jobs? Heck, besides being Nook's slave, I don't remember having an OLD job. Unless we've set our expectations extremely high, how can we be let down by a new, exciting feature?

I just pointed out three faults in the last few paragraphs, don't get me started on everything before that.

Well, I mainly use Metacritic for my reviews, seems to always be dead on accurate for me. Where Silent Hill Downpour got a 68/100 with mostly mixed reviews vs IGN giving it a 4.5 meaning bad. I thought Downpour kind of felt like a 68, I enjoyed it as a fan, but could see where some would disagree with a bit of the games choices. So yes, I believe Animal Crossing will be a great game, with many hours of fun. Especially with friends.

Down there, boy! We'll get through this together. :P

Again, some of his gripes are understandable, but the review's deliberately-negative tone just seems to sap it of any credibility, honestly. To say that Animal Crossing holds little replay value is honestly laughable, as well :'D

I apologize for me picking on this one little review. It's just so very peculiar!

Well, he is right that there is no replay value because, well... there is nothing to replay. The game keeps going and going and going so, it's just "play value". I consider "replay value" standing for the situation after the main game is beaten. You can't beat Animal Crossing, you LIVE Animal Crossing! XD

I'm enjoying the reviews bar the Kotaku and Destructoid one. I'm pumped for the game and I'm close to just buying it on the eshop the night of, rather than waiting for my hardcopy to come in... It's a tough decision.

I cannot wait for this game to release.
I have topped up my eShop ready for it's release next friday in Europe!
And I have also took the liberty of creating for myself a unique signature which is slated to be updated with a sleek Animal Crossing logo to replace Luigi's Mansion 2 as I am still playing through DK and Pokemon.

Today was a bittersweet day. I saw the game at Walmart, and held it lovingly in my hands. I was excited for the opportunity of getting the game early. Then I was forced to give it up, as they refused to sell it when it wouldn't ring up at the cash register. Sob.
