Cataloguing - is temporarily (for a second) hold an item from a friend (then give it back) you don't have to catalogue it in the Nooklings catalogue machine, you can then purchase it yourself as many times as you like.

That costs more Bells that I have ever owned. Hell, I only just got to the point where I can add a second floor to my dump of a house. I've got about 60 Bells to my name after paying off a mortgage and the fee for the campsite this morning and unless I sell my pet sharks (a regular and a whale shark) I'll have to go shake down the trees for boat fare to the island to make a bit of cash again. I'm in no danger of buying this any time soon.
