Gaming Animal Crossing multiplayer issues

Hello everyone, I have the following problem. My wife would like to play with me at Animal Crossing New Horizons. My switch is banned and we tried to play the local mode with each other. However, there is always an error message exactly at the point where the "transfer" begins and that's it. After a little research on the Internet, I came across Lan-Play with two different instructions. I tried both of them but neither leads to success. If I try it online I get the message that my switch is banned and local mode has the same effect as without Lan-Play. Can someone please help me what I am doing wrong or how I can make it work? LIttle late to the party, perhaps, but I'll offer what I know in case anyone else has this issue!

If you're actually playing locally (within 10-20 feet or whatever the limit is), just make sure that any internet local play mods are turned completely off (SX OS in the options menu or the mitm stuff in atmos). Turning all of this off and disabling your internet connection for good measure, should allow for a pure ad-hoc local play experience with no errors or issues.

Alternatively, you can use the internet tunneling to connect both Switches (if both are modded) to a server, which means you can connect from any distance apart, as long as they have internet access (or even local area net access if you set up your own server)

for the lanplay stuff, I've attached a guide I created. It ONLY works on modded/CFW switches and is written specifically for SX OS & Win10 (though if you're mitm and such are set up correctly, everything else should work)
