Hacking Animal Crossing "garden" error

I get this error either on startup of the game after the loading screen, or after I walk out of the house. I'm pretty sure I have used NTR back in the day for some testing, I uninstalled it and deleted the plugin folder but still no dice. Anything I can do to fix this?

Garden is just the codename of the game (which they used as the process name), and your plugin isn't supposed to matter anyway if you're not loading it...

The obvious test would be if it works fine on a completely new save, to figure out if it's your data or anything else (app? update? any romhack via layeredfs? unlikely weird thing in the system?)

Thanks for the reply. It does work on a new save, after the deleting the one I used and starting a new game. Everything works fine then.

EDIT:
Ahh nope. It does crash even in a new save, guess it isn't the save game's fault. Should I delete the game and install it then?

That actually fixed it... Thank you for your help. The fix was so simple I didn't think it would work lol
