Hi all. So I have a question. I am trying to connect my hacked switch to my non-hacked one for Animal Crossing. I and on 10.0.1 firmware and 1.2.0 game update on both Switch's. Before the last updated I had no problem visiting. This is all done on local play with and without the Dodo code thing. So I guess the question is, Is there a way to bypass or fix this? Has anyone else had this problem as well?

Thanks for reading and helping me out. If anyone has any info on it, I would be grateful to hear.

Edit: Sorry for lack of detail. The error is "Wuh-oh! Looks like we’re getting interference" Something about the host/client is in airplane mode or have an active menu or something open. Neither have anything open while trying to join or host.

Also, on SX OS

You haven't really specified your problem though? Is it a problem where you host invites on one Switch but the other can't find it?

Yes, I had the same problem and fixed it.

First delete the old files and do a clean installation of Atmosphere with the latest sigpatches (keeping your Hekate configuration and emuMMC if you have it). Go into the configuration of the CFW and disable the local online play module. Then go to the software management of the hacked Switch and uninstall Animal Crossing. Your saves will be fine, they are not stored together with the app. Now reinstall fresh the NSP and the update plus whatever DLC you previously had.

Now it should be fine.

No, local play is not a problem. I don't know what issue OP was experiencing because there's not a lot of detail, and @MarkDarkness probably didn't need to go through all of those steps to fix the problem. Most local play issues, using hacked or unhacked Switch systems, can usually be solved by making sure the Wi-Fi is turned on and, if need be, rebooting the Switch.

why would wifi need to be on for local play?

Either one can see each island. But while trying to connect it gives the "Wuh-oh! Looks like we’re getting interference" error.

Sorry for the lack of detail, I updated the post. But, it gives the "Wuh-oh! Looks like we’re getting interference" error while trying to connect to either one. They can both see each island with no problem. I can have others connect to the non hacked switch with no problem. But they also have the same issue with trying to connect to the hacked one. I have tried a reboot, turning the wifi off and back on, and deleting and re-adding wifi info. =\

That error usually happens when someone on the island is on their Nook Phone, talking with a villager, at the Nook computer, etc.

I had the same problems a few days ago when I try do did the same. Here is how I fix it.

First make sure you have the same firmware on both of your switch. Make sure you have the latest SX OS.

For me the error was because I had some cheat activated, so please make sure you have the cheats off.

If that doesnt work, restart your hacked switch and try to connect again

I debugged this exact issue. I can't say 100% what fixed it but this was the fix. Did you have the issue? No? Then don't say it's a matter of turning the console on and off. The local online play was interfering on my setup and local wireless only got back to working after I disabled it.

I had the same problem, but ended up getting it to work. Turns out, the edizon overlay was causing the issue, so i temporarily deleted it of my sd card, and local wireless worked with no issues

I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong before. But, I did another 2 reboots and now it seems to work. At least for now. I think it might have been something to do with FTP being turned on in sx os menu. Though not 100% sure. I do want to thank all of you for helping and all the input. I'm just hoping this page will help others who have the same problem.

Probably is. Turn it off after you're done. All these guys telling OP to turn off EdiZon on SX OS smh.

Has anyone encountered "unable to connect to the internet" notif when trying to connect via local play? I'm using sx os. Trying to connect to a switch lite.

Sounds like you are banned and are trying to connect to the internet for non local play. I have both banned and lite but have never had that happen

I was having the same issue, (interference....error) both of my switch's are SX software. I tried everything here with no luck. the only way I was able to get it to work was to actually boot one of the consoles in AMS CFW. now they are able to communicate and play local wireless. all other games work fine for local wireless with both consoles being SXOS. This only happens when playing ACNH v1.2.

both consoles are SX OS 2.9.5 / 10.0.2
booted one using vanilla AMS 12.0
