Long story short. I backed up a earlier version of Cave Story+ 3DSware with the broken Curly Mode. So, it doesn't appear in the Home Menu. When I load up RxTools on 9.2U, it shows up with a black icon. Selecting it crashes. I did the eShop spoof to see if the eShop says it's installed. Which it says it is. The app file is still signed with 4.4.0-10U keys and the release date for the initial revision is Oct 4th, 2012. Would it work on that fw via cfw?

tl;dr trying to make it work so I can dump it and data mine it. No I do not like downloading warez for 3ds.

It should work on 9.2 if it works on 4.x.

My advice is to get the raw ncch's and build a working .3ds version. Then, use simple cia converter to build a *perfect cia.
You might also try using the funky cia method to get a *perfect cia.

I'll give that a whirl after Alpha Sapphire is done dumping so I can play Randomizer.
