So I was going to use softmii tonight to hack my wii, but I found out that I cannot connect my wii to the internet at my dorm. So all that I have installed right now is the HBC and just to try it out and make sure I did things right I installed Zombies ate my neighbors injected vc title. Tomorrow I'm going home for the weekend and I was just going to finish the process tomorrow, so what I was wondering is if it is safe to connect to the internet with this "hacked" vc title on my system. Please let me know. Thanks.

Pretty safe if not completely safe.Never heard of anyone getting banned or anything.I've connected to pretty much all my games and no problems.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons. -

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.+1

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
