Alternative to Nero?

Is there any simple and basic software for burning data to DVD? I always used Nero for as long as I can remember but with each updates, it keeps adding more features that I never use. Can anyone recommend a no nonsense data burning software?

Yeah, new Nero versions are annoyingly bloated. Personally, I use ImgBurn, which handles everything I throw at itif the OS's built-in features fail me (yep, Win7 can burn both files and ISOs without any programs).
Another commonly recommended tool is CDBurnerXP (http://cdburnerxp.se/), though I can provide no personal experience with that.

Express burn
Is not a MB big in size but it does the job wonderfully.
Burning music/dvd (a lot of files)/data without all the hassle

IMGBurn or InfraRecorder Portable. They-re both portable; however IMGBurn takes a little bit of set up to get it to be portable, but it has more features, like Wii disc burning.

+1 Imgburn it will autodetect what type of cd or dvd you are burnign and ask if you would like to swap to correct settings, definitly the best
