How many games that utilize QR codes are possibly exploitable? Cubic Ninja was, so I would bet others are. I know of another QR-code-using game called Johnny Dynamite, which kinda seems like it's shitty enough to be exploited...

What do you all think?

Before going about that, you need to find an actual vuln within the game..

Cubic Ninja was able to be exploited due to how to game worked with level creation, idk if it would be possible with this game.
This. The Cubic Ninja being exploited is not due to its shitty gameplay. It's because Cubic Ninja have huge vulnerability. Its fame among other exploits is because it has QR scanning feature. However, it doesn't mean every games with QR code scanning feature is the same as Cubic Ninja.

So OP basically got everything backward regarding the exploit game.
