If latest SDFiles and layeredFS works on 4.1 it should be okay. Test yourself if you can.

Thanks for the reply, I’m relatively new at this. Is there a tutorial or write up I can view for changing mario as the donor title? Also would I need any additional files?

You can purchase Pokemon Quest (Demo) on the Nintendo site, then download with eXhop to your switch.
Due to ban it wont download itself automatically but exhop can do that for you.+

Doubt Nintendo is allowed to prevent you from downloading your purchased games, no matter if you hacked the console or not.
I would ask them for refund for every game I bought in their shop. Will see if lawsuits will pop up soon.

You don't own a game, you own a License to the software. When you break the terms of that license by modifying your switch or game, you lose the right to use that software. But its cool Nintendo let's you download it.
