It's a page from a (I think Brazilian) magazine featuring three screenshots. Crono's hair seems to be different, and I can't make out what else is going on in the Arris Dome.

So click this picture and examine it with your super vision eyesight....

It also seems Chrono has a combover hair style.Examine it,and you will see it.

Quality is low, but his hair fringe definitely seems different. Very interesting status screenshot too; apparently characters had some sort of levels for each of the four Elements despite having a primary Element. Also the article says something about 24 megas? The final version is 32 megas I think.

Interesting first screenshot. The Epoch's flying over ground (not clouds or the flame background), and we can see what looks like jet vapor or something coming out of the Epoch's jets. (In the actual game, you can only see the vapor in the overworld sprite, IIRC.)

*TRASHED POST*

Umm they more than likely are Japanese not white...

That dude looks like Goku.

woah woah woah woah...
So you are trying to say Goku a Japanese anime/manga character is white? You make me laugh.

No but seriously that alpha must still exist...dang...if people would only keep these things (the demos that are sent to magazines) around...

the alpha version sprites are a little different. Unpolished would be a much better word to use. Those are screenshots from Q3 1994 (a few months before the demo version)
It must still be floating around somewere...I hope a bastard dumps it

I'm sure someone out there has an original version of the Alpha and knows its worth lots of money. So they either are going to sell it or they won't host it up on the internet so it doesn't spread.

this magazine, it's called "SuperGamePower"

Yep.. I used to collect those! Of course, game magazines become useless after the Internet

I would disagree I still find Nintendo Power and Game Informer easier to read than IGN and it also helps me to find games I would not have thought of even playing or looking up about on the internet.
