Hacking All these things [advice]

Howdy, so I probably preface where I am at. I have a O3DS with a 32gb SD card, and sysnand 4.5 and 10.3 emunand. I bought a gateway way back and as of late it is not launching the multi-rom menu. I'm leaning towards installing rxTools, but was also curious about crtbootmanager and menuhax and a general optimal setup for everything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I tried that and had no luck. So I am going to switch to custom firmware.

I guess I was wondering what my options are?
