ROM Hack All game want updates

So i just put cfw to my 2ds it was a 11.8 everything when great during the install of the cfw and when installing virtual console games with fbi everything is good, but when i install a game like donkey kong country, hey pikmin or pokemon moon is telling i cannot play it until i update the game now with pokemon i get it cause it has a update but even after i downloaded the update and install it still not letting me play, i was listening that it could that with the 11.8 nintendo made something to the first party game to be more dificult to play, so my question is is this true and if so how can i fix it ?
