Hardware After Switch frame replacement — no LCD image. Backlight only

Hello! I attempted replacing the frame/front housing of my Switch.

Following the initial attempt, the LCD does not turn on beyond the backlight. The digitizer and speakers still work, as I hear the switch respond to the touchscreen.

Two notes about the attempt:
- the plastic on the border of the LCD was a little warped by my heat gun. this is somewhat near the LCD connector
- the LCD connector is a pretty right fit. is this normal?

I did take apart and reassemble once more, primarily to make sure the LCD was seated snugly.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

your lcd is not inserted in lcd connector .
probable/likely .. ? > bend pin in lcd connector , check this with your camera phone for good view.

try clean lcd socket & flex cable, using alcohol, it will fix it

Check the LCD connector for bent pins. That connector is very fragile and you have to be very very careful when removing/reinserting the ribbon cable.
