Hacking Advantages to owning 2?

I just recieved a second dstwo. Now I have a question?
Is there any advantage to having 2 of these things?

I'm having to decide from keeping it or replacing someone's r4 gold with this.

OP, not so much in my eyes, but to each their own. I DO suppose that "in case you lose it" is a good reason, though.

these cheaply made slot-1 solutions do not last forever. this is not the same generation of designers and teams we had for gba. if you have a second you should hold onto it and use it 10 years from now.
