Changelog:
  • Added ability to skip adrenaline boot logo.
  • Added message for original filter.
  • Fixed bug where payloadex was not updated and caused some bugs.

  • Changed CPU clock back to 333 MHz.

Is there an explanation for this? Adrenaline was from my experience consuming more power before than native Vita apps. If it ran at 222MHz before and now runs at 333MHz, it would further decrease the battery life.

Could be to do with people reporting choppy frame rates in PS1 games in Adrenaline 4 onwards?

I can actually attest that some, but not all PSX games runs beggarly on elderly versions. This brand new version hopefully will Fix it Felix Jr the problem solving. Hope you are enlightened with my explanation of the human world.

I never really noticed. I guess I'll turn up the speed and see if it stops the lag in Crash 2.

No I never personally noticed any poor frame rates either but I saw a lot of reports that 3 was better than 4 onwards in that regard. Glad they've fixed any future issues I might have had anyway

i updated from 4.1 to 5.1, the update is awful.
i love adrenaline but, i ran psx game (ff9) and only in bilinear because i need the full screen, and now bilinear mode makes the picture choppy the moment i run around.

is there any way to downgrade back to 4.1? do i only have to manually place the adrenaline suprx files?

Just replace the adrenaline files to perform the update. Also, if your tv has stretching or wide options you can use that instead of the filters in "Original Mode". "Intelligent Qube" is one example of a game that was fixed from 3x to 4x Adrenaline, sure there are a bunch others.

i do not have the pstv, only psv , and i actually am just sticking with the latest 5.1 because when i switched filtering to Advanced AA (this one looks almost identical to the Bilinear!) and also does not chop the framerate ,and i was happy again haha.

and what i also noticed , i think on Original game runs faster better fp or something.. because in battles the animations are faster and so on , in FF9.
(sadly this will not allow me to go fullscreen or i'd stick to it.)

Please make future Adrenaline versions (and their installers) work better with PS Vitas using the USB drive exploit. It's pure hell trying to update the software. 5.10 doesn't respond to user input, forcing you to hard reset.

Ehhh... stop! What are talking about? The Flow changed back from 444 Mhz CPU clock to standard (333Mhz). It might be that 444 Mhz brought no benefits over 333 Mhz because it's still the same emulator Sony developed for the PSP. I'm not 100% sure but that's the only reason i can think of ...

the update deleted my savestates right away. that wasnt fun to experience.

Does this help? http://wololo.net/2017/06/03/adrena...savestates-updating-newer-version-adrenaline/

That makes more sense, don't know where the 222mhz thing came from then...
