Adobe premiere not working

Hi I have a problem I would like to share with yall and hopefully I can find some solutions. So I have made the transition from Sony Vegas to Premiere
pro and I like it a lot, but i been having an issue that has made the program almost impossible to move. Basically once I drag a video into my sequence I cant
move my blue time stamp along the time line, and it lags and Its literally unusable. This never use to happen but now it happens all the time and i cannot edit
anymore please help.

If it's lagging it's most likely your computer hardware . What I mean is your CPU is probbaly maxed out when using the program .If you do that, try looking at task manager for CPU usage .It will tell you If it's red and maxed out in the graph, you need a better cpu/hardware
