Is it possible to add games to an internal HDD form a flash drive using something like uLaunchELF? I no longer have a USB IDE adapter, so I've got no other ways to add games to HDD. If not, is there any other way to add games to HDD through the PS2 without removing the HDD?

On a non-modified PS2, you can only directly install correct region original games from CD/DVD. Adding an HDD does not, in and of itself, break the disc drive's security.
If looking to put imports or backups on the HDD, you'll need a workaround. Slide tool, flip top, modchip, network, moving the HDD to a PC, etc.

I'm using a modified PS2 with FMCB, and the HDD is just to store games.

Ok, I'll give that a shot!

Yeah with a network almost anything will go onto the HDD.
A multisystem TV is recommended for best results, it saves time dealing with NTSC/PAL issues.

if the hdd it's internal, you can setup HDD-ODS and then use Mini-OPL to create the shortcuts

Right now I'm using OPL to run games off the HDD that I transferred with WinHIIP. It seems to work pretty well; I just need more games.

You can perform a network installation.
You just need "hdld_svr_###.elf" (#=version) on your PS2 and HDLDump on your PC.
