I read a thread here, not so long ago, about some guys who kinda figured out how to share homebrew-software via the download-play feature. Maybe that's a step into the direction of sharing any kind of data through wifi

.
But yeah, that would be aweomse ^^

jes with ds download and play there need to be a way to share but the problem is if you use download & play the data get dowloaded in 4 mb ram of the ds.

right, I think that was the problem, as the guy who came up with it only tested this "hack" with very small hombrews.
Maybe you could create some crazy DS-wifi bit torrent to split the file into many little bits

The DS-to-DS wifi library is very much in beta, and as such it's very buggy and unstable. Furthermore, it transfers at less than 10 kb/s. Transferring files between DS systems is possible, and in fact it is one of the test applications of this library, but it's slow as heck.

But that's not DS-to-DS now is it? The library for connecting to a TCP stack (conventional Internet connection) is much more stable than the ad-hoc library for connecting two DS systems together without any other Internet access point.
