Hacking Activate a new PS4 on 4.55 or below

So I'm buying a gold PS4 slim and hopefully it'll come in 4.55 or below
Question is, is there a way for me to activate my PS4 and maybe download PSN games without updating to the latest firmware?
Or I am left with option not to register any PSN account and play only from disc?

You must update in order to use PSN,not sure what do you mean by "activate PS4",but i think you can create offline user and play on it if you don't want to log to PSN.

Not sure about PS4 but in Vita world we usually activate the system by linking a PSN account to a device

But in order to link your profile you must use Henkaku or download a games from PS3 and send it to PS Vita.
There is no other way on PS4 i am afraid.

Yeah. No way - you can't even download updates without signing into the PSN.

I updated. Screw CFW - I bought a PS4 to play with it. IF he ever releases it, you could always buy a cheap used PS4.

confirmed that the ps4 comes in 4.55
I've decided to wait a while before updating to 4.70 but I also want to switch to a bigger hard drive. anyone has the link for 4.55 PS4UPDATE.PUP that can be used for new installation (should be close to 1 GB in size), preferably direct link from sony server if it's still available
