PS1/2 Action Replay + Free MC Boot

I'd like to know if it's possible to use an Action Replay on backup images of PS2 games?

I have the following:

a retail copy of Action Replay MAX
Free MC Boot 1.8
uLaunchElf
ESR

I'm not going to cheat very often but it'd be nice to know if it could be possible...

Would it work if I used a backup copy of Swap Magic 3.8 coder? I have bought the DVD/CD set of Swap Magic 3.8 but the DVD of Swap Magic is not working properly...

No problem, but remember the CB option i mentioned if you feel that you must. Besides who needs it? Cheating is for........cheaters?
