Hey all,

I searched through the threads and tried to find information about running Action Replay-like programs off of a Slot-1 but nothing came up (or I suck at searching

)

Anyway, is there a way to run codes (AR or GS) on Roms on a Flash Card? (I'm thinking of buying Super 1 or Cyclo). This will basically be the deciding factor for me. Thanks for your help.

Almost all of the modern cards have built in cheat systems that use an AR database file.

I would highly recommend the AceKard2.

Really? Thanks a ton! I guess I should've done some more research on that. *facepalm*
Thanks for being my mentors.

Yea, to tell you the truth, I can't think of one Slot1 flashcard that doesn't support cheats in one form or another. They basically all have support for Action Replay codes. At any rate, you can find a nice compilation of cheats in my signature.

DS-X doesn't have it, but I can't see why anyone would buy one of those nowadays.

Is the DS-X still alive anyways? ;p

LOL. Yes. It is.

Also, find the user p1ngpong. He claims that he's a DS-X megafan.

There's actually the N-card as well as its clones.

This is off-topic, but you can also use the Nitro Hax homebrew program to use Action Replay cheats with official DS cartridges, which is rather cool.

It basically acts as a homebrew software version of the actual ARDS hardware product. You format the cheats and put them on your card, load up Nitro Hax, select the cheat file(s) to use, then eject whatever's in slot-1 and insert the game. It launches the DS game with the cheats applied. I've only used an early version of it, so I don't know how to format the cheats now, but it shouldn't be too difficult.
