Hacking Action Replay DSI with twl slot 1 launcher?

so, i want to use my action replay (which i found earlier today) with my o3ds, since it won't fit on my n3ds, i'm running rxtools 2.6 with the patches on it (because i can't be bothered to install a9lh onto it, or luma unless luma fixes this. i have an n3ds with a9lh and luma, been there done that).

It reads, but partially. this is what i mean:

It launches fine without the launcher, but freezes at a white screen once TWL mode loads, same with the launcher, i know the action replay isn't broken because it runs fine on my DS Lite, but the DS lite having a tiny screen, and being extremely uncomfortable would not be enjoyable

This is the original DSI one, with the insertable cart, not the one with the 3ds badge on it

You'll need the one that says it works on the 3DS. The older one won't work at all.

Also FYI, it actually runs in regular DS mode, not TWL mode. That's why you can use it to bypass region locking on the DSi.

If it runs in ds mode, have you tried installing bluecardfix from gateway to sysnand?
I've gotten my blue card to work on 9.2 o3ds which is just a flash cart so I can't imagine why this wouldn't work also.

it's not a flashcart, and flashcarts already work. Luma does the patching on its own

Right, but didn't you say you were trying this on an o3ds, without a9lh?

What happened when you put it in the n3ds?

Legitimately doesn't fit. Also, i forgot that i was talking about the o3ds... either way, i have the patches for rxtools on that too

Why are you using rxtools 2.6 (or at all) in 2016? Either way, afaik, you can update the AR to work on 3ds, but you will need the cable that it came with (idk if its anything you can just buy somewhere, its been a while since I had one that worked) and to find the update on their website. Also, I think it needs to be an AR dsi (it says dsi on the cartridge itself and I think the GUI is black instead of white)

Why are you using rxtools 2.6 (or at all) in 2016?

for the same reason you have rxtools on your o3ds... might be an earlier build of 3.0....afaik it still has the "tools" menu

yeah.. like, it boots to a perpetual white screen, also.. it's the one that is incompatible. Which is a given because it straight up doesn't work, lel
