Gaming ACNL spotpass issue

Okay so here's my problem, I keep getting the blue light on my 3ds saying I have a spotpass, I open my3ds and the ACNL file has the little blue circle saying I have spotpass, and even my notifications are lit up. Problem is, there's no spotpass, and nothing new in notifications. this has been going on since I bought the game, only once has it been true, and that's when reggie came into town. Idk if I'm missing something, or if it's a server glitch by nintendo. I already got the rainbow screen for this month too.

yes to both..... this happens after I let the game sit on a natural course for a few days.

I don't think that's a problem cause it happened to me too.
It's just a hint that someone has come over to the HH Showcase.

There is a new item available now. A Palm Tree lamp. I think that triggers the Spotpass alert as well.

That reminds me. Time to get the Bestbuy stuff for this week.
