ROM Hack Question [ACNH] Mods ?!

this is a really cool mod. when using this mod, all the fishes can be packed into a gift, but the insect(alive) can not be packed. Is it possible to pack insect and other items to a gift? Thanks..

Possible yes, I don't remember flagged fish to be send..
Not sure is a good idea, Gift send by mail pass by Nintendo server. If they check content.. this could involve a future ban that's why I didn't put this trigger "on"

Thanks for your reply. What would happen if I went to my friend's Island and dropped that gift(cause it would be really amazing in my friends view)? How to open this trigger? And do you know how to use edizon4.0 to wrap any items ? Thanks a lot, again.
 
I can't get it to work in sxos.
The files should go into /sxos/titles/01006F8002326000 but when I add them, the game will instantly crash after lauching it.
This happened to me with every single Animal Crossing mod so far, for some reason they just don't work on sxos. LayeredFS works totally fine with other games, though (at least for me).
Has no one else tried getting it to work on sxos so far?

I have the exact same problem, disabling the mod (holding X while launching the game) make the game works again, but with the mod enabled, game crash at launch, and you need to reboot the switch and boot again in SX OS.
There's probably nothing we can do untill there's an update, or maybe move from SX OS (but to be honest i'm too lazy and my GF will blow a fuse now that she's used to SX OS.)
I'm surprised there's no more people complaining about that, maybe we are only a few to use SX OS, or if anyone managed to get it working, please let us know :)
 
Is it possible to have a mod that would let us do things that we normally can't do while the gates are open or are visiting another island? Like accessing the ABD, use amiibo, open nook shop, edit terrain, move/pick up furniture?

Just think about it. We found a way to unlock it..ok.. the netcode is not made to handle it.. what happen to the other player ?
D/c ? glitch ? ban ?
When you're online, the game in a particular "state" like a "read only mode", that's it. we cannot change that without bugs or maybe crash.
Mods mean "modification" not "addition" to the existing game. We can only manipulate some files but we're bonded to some rules and we never break rules, just bypass them a few.
We cannot change the core without an official mod support.

1.2.1 Change nothing in game. it's just an update to fix glitch/dupe thing.
Everything else is still the same. Every mods works without any modification
LIke in most of game. minor update change nothing
1.2.1(x) = just event flag
1.2.x = no modification in assets
1.x.x = content update
x.x.x = major update

Hi Alree. I just noticed one thing. I bought turnip this morning, and when I opened my pocket and selected the first turnip, I only have three options, but for the second one and the remaining, I have 4 options. I think what is missing from the first turnip selected is the option Eat 10 turnips. I didn't try with the other items though.

is this a normal behaviour with the mod?

Dunno, this stack was a full stack or another quantity ?
