Hacking Acekard2i Cheats Update Question

Okay so, I was reading the sticky topic about how to set up your acekard and went down to the part about cheats and how to update them. The cheat database it links to is out of date and listed as March of 2011. Would it be possible for me to use the usrcheat.dat file from here http://filetrip.net/f25376-USRCHEAT-DAT-fo...43DS-v1-40.html with my acekard 2i? Even though it is listed as for R4, R4I and R43DS?

Yes, AKAIO can read any cheat database in *.dat format. It can also read *db and *xml if I'm not mistaken. *.dat is most common however.

I loaded that file, chose that as the cheat database. But no cheats for pokemon soulsilver. Any suggestions?

Is the USRCHEAT.DAT in the cheat folder? Did you rebuild the cheat for that game? Do you have a clean rom?
