Hacking Acekard 2i .sav problem

I had someone make me a special ROM, he did this on a acekard.
I have a acekard 2i. Me emailed me the file (Pokemon platinum) but when I try to use it on my acekard,
it says there is no save file. Why?

I really ned help. He sent it as a .sav file, so how do I run it?
(Even if I name them both pokemon.nds and pokemon.sav it doesn't work!)

Acekard RPG is different from Acekard 2i, maybe that is your problem.
