Hacking AceKard 2i randomly freezing while playing games

Hello everybody,

I just got a DSi and AceKard 2i.
I can play games with it, but it freezes sometimes.
most times it happens when opening my DSi after closing it, but it also happened when entering a dialogue (SRTOGS:EF)
I have:

An AceKard 2i with AKAIO 1.41 with the latest loader
An European DSi (Black) with FW 1.3E

Is AKAIO known for freezing or something?

If you know what's wrong, please tell me!

If you touch the card while it's in the slot, you'll notice that it moves around slightly. The acekard doesn't fit firmly into the slot, so this causes it to sometimes move out of place and cause the game to freeze. It's happened to me a few times. Before you play a game just make sure that it's in there properly, and if your playing rpg's, remember to save often

Although, it could possibly be something with the firmware or the acekard itself if it's happening frequently. Just in my personal experience and from what I've read on various forums, a lot of people have problems because of the above mentioned reason.

It still freezes...
especially when I close the DSi...
I'm sure I never touched the card!
does anyone know how to solve it (for once and for all)?

It's crashing when you close the DS because it snaps close, which must be interupting the connections. Like if you started tapping it with something like... I dunno, a screwdriver. Or if you dropped it a few feet, sorta. Just don't close it, close it SLOWLY, or order a new one. I think it's because the gold contacts aren't long enough, and are getting disconnected. If you get me.

My Acekard2i(revision 2/new batch/model 2/etc...) fits perfectly in by DSi.

hmmm...

I used tape, multiple layers, but it still hangs sometimes.
Could it be that my Acekard 2i is faulty?
