Hacking Acekard 2i cheats not working?

On my acekard 2i I found some cheats that were already in the cheats folder and I decided to use the one that was for Phoenix Wright 2 which is "Infinite Life". I enable it by Pressing X and I made sure there was a check mark next to the cheat. I start the game and the cheat doesn't work! Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks...

Yes I did. Doesn't work...

I figured out the problem here on my part....all cheats were disabled in the menu.....so I selected the enabled option and now the cheats work.
