Hacking Acekard 2i broken spring loader, what should I do?

I had the same thing happen with one of my first AK2i cards.
DaBomb here on GBAtemp had the fix that actually worked for me.

He said push it in really, really, hard until you hear and feel a snap.

Yeah, right, I thought to myself, that will just break it even worse.
But wait, the card isn't working right now, what is the worst that could happen?
I tried it, got the "snap" and that card worked great ever since.

yes you can, but it doesn't guarantee that you can fix it
maybe you can make it just worsen though

I tried that and it didnt work you cant get it out. Its actualy a little metal rod with a slip on the end that when you push your SD in the latch goes up and latchs onto a bit of the Ak so i idnt really know how to get it out. Sorry if this didnt help.
