Hacking Accidental update now what

Perhaps it was removed on a later version to make way for SafeCTRNAND. Find an older version or use the other program.

What other program, usdexploit says kernel patched and then safehax gives me the error mentioned above and if I manually open decrypt9wip and go to sysnand options I have nand backup nand restore and some other stuff but nothing for ctr

Well you can't do it without the kernal access safehax provides anyway. Just try it again, and run usdexploit each time before. The guide itself says you may have to try many times.

ya I'm just losing confidence tried literally 2-3 dozen times last night and up to 5 or 6 times today kernel patching always says done and when I load safehax I always get that [!] PM INIT FAILED

I think so I downloaded all the files off the guide that it told me while I followed it

And your DS is on the right firmware? Meaning >11.4? I mean it must be else you couldn't use soundhax. All I can say is that the integrity of the files or your SD card is corrupted, or you just need to keep trying. Other than that, everything should work like it's supposed to.

Files get corrupted during a transfer often, it's just something that happens when there are too many dropped packets. If you're using Wi-Fi to transfer files to your SD card, do it manually. Also, copy them over more than once to be 100% sure, and check the integrity of your SD card for bad sectors.

Yes I am 9.2, I manually put the files on and have transferred them a few times now to make sure. I'll check for bad sectors I guess.... Starting to think I'm gunna b stuck with a paper weight

Well it's not a paper weight if it works I guess. If you can't get it to work, then I would use a cart to update to a higher firmware then try again. There is a list somewhere around here detailing what games will update to XX firmware. Good luck man.

Try using fasthax instead of udsploit

Yeah just don't update to 11.4 or you'll lose your chance entirely. Fasthax seems like a good bet too although they both work the same way. It wouldn't hurt to try for sure.

The emunand partition isn't stored on the DS itself, only the SD card. ONly your Sysnand is stored on your DS.
