Hacking Accessing eShop and playing new games (Sun & Moon)

I'm currently on Sys 10.7.0-32E CFW (SysNand as far as I'm aware) with a lot of CIAs + homebrew installed.

With the recent release of the Sun & Moon demo, I'm now wondering how I can access this on the eShop. But more importantly, will I have any issues playing a store copy of Sun & Moon (will it require me to update my firmware).

I can't seem to find many people in the same situation as me so I'm hoping someone can help .

using a9lh? you can update just fine.

If you're already using A9LH, there shouldn't be any harm in updating to the latest firmware and accessing the eShop. Even if you're paranoid and want to avoid accessing the eShop with all of your CIAs installed, you should be fine grabbing a CIA of the demo and transferring its bonuses to the cartridge (just be aware that the demo will place a higher priority on CIA copies of the full game than it will on physical copies when transferring the data).
Regardless, I don't think there's any reason not to update at this point.

You have a9lh so it is safe to update.

Just so everyone knows, I updated my SysNand no problem and have just installed the demo version of Sun & Moon.

All CIAs etc. still there .
