Hardware Access point not detected when trying to connect.

I got a new ps3 and tried it on,it worked alright.i tried to connect it to the internet but it said this.i did a quick reset,and a full reset that lasted 5 hours.On the full reset it worked fine when i did the setup.I get on the PS3 menu,press test network connection and said failed.I tried to reconect but to no avail....What should I do ? I dont wanna buy a new PS3!

So were you using wifi or ethernet? Did you try resetting the router?

wifi.i reset the router around ten times and still never worked...
