I spent some time implementing the stuff you requested. Github is updated in the same branch with the new features. I did "some" testing, but probably not enough; you'll need to take care of that. Let me know if it works out.

Thanks! It seems to be working but I didn't test thoroughly either. Hopefully I won't ever be forced to use it, but it is great to have in my back pocket.
