Today i successful updated one of my 3ds to boot9strap. but the other one doesnt boot anymore, here is what i did.
When i turned the system on after not using it a long time, i had a pop up menu asking me to update it. so i did update it on the main screen, not through system setting. and it wont boot anymore.

I am able to boot to emunand9 using L+R+Y, but thats about it.

Can you mention what Luma version you are running?

the files in luma folder of the sd card is around mid 2016

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Then you need to update it. Download Luma v7.0.5 and replace the arm9loaderhax.bin file you have now with the one from that .7z file.
OMG ITS FIXED! THANKS MAN!

in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • NinStar @ NinStar:

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
