You could possibly use Tinyformat, but it seems strange that Pialect's guide wouldn't include it. If you want to try using tinyformat then do so at your own risk, but It isn't too difficult to call nintendo to unlink.

After rereading pialect's guide, It seems like I have a few things wrong. The guide talks about restoring the NNID to 3DS 1, when all you want to do is switch back. So yeah, i'd suggest using Tinyformat then.

I never suggested that, i was speaking from my own case, Nintendo doesn't know we exist from the 1st party. Everything that's brought of them here, is by the shops themselves.
I cannot just call to the US and tell them to unlink my nnid, even if my console IS from USA region.
