Homebrew A9LH Button Remap

Hi i just installed A9LH on my 2ds and my home button simulates A is there any way i can remap it to be a home button again

It's not because of A9LH. It's probably a hardware issue.

There isn't, as far as I know, especially not if it's a hardware issue.
If some lane on the pcb connects to another one it shouldn't, you can't really do much about it, unfortunately.

Thats Ok but im a bit confused due to the button working in games but not out of games which lead me to believe its a software issue

Can you explain this a bit more? When I hit Home on the Home Menu it just brings me to the first tile(H&S).

Ah, I know what's happening... When you press your Home button it's activating the bottom of your touchscreen which is where "Open" is on the touchscreen when on the Home Menu. So it's a hardware thing. Try cleaning up the edges of the touchscreen(the bottom edge at least in you case), there might be something wedged in there that applies pressure to the touchscreen making it select "Open" making it seem like it's the A button.
