Well it KINDA works on b9s. Laggy AF animation and can only boot things like decrypt9, not cfw. Just have to wait for a fix i guess.
I guess I'll try to make a cool animation whilst I wait. Any suggestions from anyone?

Sorry if I don't answer your question but I have mine, what are the advantages to update to b9s

At this point its about future proofing. B9S will load up your 3DS slightly faster than A9LH, but its barely noticeable. But all future Luma updates will not be A9LH compatible, they will instead be B9S compatible. Also, while it was theoretically possible for Nintendo to disable your A9LH with updates (was probably never going to happen anyway), it will be impossible for Nintendo to disable B9S.

Decided to use the Vegas Pro files provided by Mesonoxian for their Luma3DS loads animation and modify them to be green instead

I'll probably do a few more color variations in the near future.

Edit:
Made a purple color variant as well

I also decided to make a new one from scratch with a similar concept:

Thank you I already updated to B9S now. I saw it was very necessary.

I guess a temparary work around is to keep luma set on the ctrbootmanager, put the time out to 1 and scroll down to bootanim9 every time you want to boot with a animation and have the payload set to decrypt9 then press start,or if there is a payload the forces the 3ds to reboot that would be even better

My 3DS only shows the Animation on the Top Screen what can i do ? I have Boot9Strap

First off make shure you are using bootctr9 as your primary payload when using bootanim9,otherwise your arm9 cfw payload on b9s won't work..As for your question You need to name your bottom animation bottom_anim in your 0 folder.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Boot9Strap only supports top screen as far as I know. Only A9LH supported both screens.

(Maybe this will be supported in future updates?)
Bootanim9 works if you use it with bootctr9 on b9s.You still need to use a arm9loaderhax.bin cfw to use it but bootctr9 will enable it to boot up.

Cool, I didn't know that! I'll also try it out. Thanks for quoting me as well!

Here is the link to the BootCTR9 thread by the way:

Your welcome. It takes a bit of time to set up though because you need get bootctr9 to boot into bootanim9 first, then you can use a arm9loaderhax cfw payload in the anim folder and call it arm9payload.bin.The way I have it set up is like this.

bootctr9>>>ctrbootmanager(so I can swap between firm/bin cfw's)>>>>bootanim9 (with a bin cfw of my choice in the anim folder)

Ah I already wondered. Well, that is too much effort for me personally just to have an animated bottom screen. The top screen is enough. Plus, I only have Luma and I think it would take too much boot time for just one CFW.

I appreciate your second reply!

Hi, I´m new in this and I have the 3DS hacked already and I want use the animations, but the link of the first page is down. Can someone give me the BootAnim9 files? In the first page are the instructions I´ll use it
