My current setup is sysnand 9.0 with nothing installed except menuhax that boot homebrew laucncher

then via homebrew launcher I run all apps plus aureinand 4.1 cfw into an emunand

my FBI is injected in emunand only

now I am interested in a9lh to replace menuhax

my question is in all posts and tutorial I read about booting BootCTR9 via a9lh which i dont like at all

but no one mentioned booting homebrew launcher as default menu with a9lh

I'm not interested in updated sysnand mode because I want to keep my sysnand untouched and I'm happy with emunand which is more flexible and safe for future.

can I keep my current setup with only replacing my entry point from menuhax to a9lh? if yes then how
because i didnt understand which file a9lh execute on its run and if it falls back to sysnand if it didnt exist on sd card

Then A9LH isn't for you, it modifies sysnand and that's the whole point of it, have a CFW on boot by modifying your system, you aren't just booting an exploit and a file as all other entrypoints but messing up with the system itself...

You could still have an emunand with all the features that cfw sysnand has now though. I have a9lh, but I still prefer a9lh emunand for some reason. If you follow the OTP guide, just make sure that you don't delete emunand.

Let the guy do what he wants, what difference does it make to you? Who are you to say what he can and can't do with his console?

No without the SDcard your system is essentially a soft brick.

No with a9lh, booting without an sd card will either make nothing boot (black screen) or it'll turn off your 3ds if it doesn't detect one.

    https://github.com/delebile/arm9loaderhax

here it says it does not modify anything except it loads arm9loaderhax.bin

    and optionally inject the following

    • Inject firm0.bin in the NAND FIRM0 partition, encrypted with your xor stream.
    • Inject firm1.bin in the NAND FIRM1 partition, encrypted with your xor stream.
    • Inject sector.bin at sector 0x96, in the plaintext output you'll have.
    • Inject stage0x5C000.bin at sector 0x5C000, in his plaintext form. It is an unused region for now, you'll not ruin your nand
let me point that i'm asking because I prefer to understand over following Plailect point of view blindly.

**things might change in future so you never know if updated sysnand was a good choice**

now how can i make a9lh load homebrew launcher instead of bootCTR9

I feel like there was a misunderstanding in what Tony_93 said: It is impossible to set up A9LH without touching sysnand, and OP stated they are not interested in touching their sysnand.

However, I should say: There are people with A9LH who still use EmuNAND. Another reason why people want to install A9LH is for the 8-second bootup, ability to unbrick sysnand, and the 100% consistent boot success rate.

A9LH does modify sysnand, but only ever so slightly: It patches SysNAND with a very small payload, hijacks the system very early into the boot, and redirects it to whatever file is found at SD:/arm9loaderhax.bin. This also means that if the SD card is out and/or SysNAND cannot find that file, it will crash and result in a temporary brick until you put the file in the proper location and reboot, or re-flash your sysnand with a restore point prior to installing A9LH.

Unfortunately, there is no A9LH implementation of Homebrew Channel, but there are several different alternatives you can use, such as BootCTR9 (which you said you aren't interested in), arm9select (I use this one), and arm9loaderhay.

You could use one of those to redirect to a CFW or your homebrew launcher .3dsx if you want: it's fully configurable!

Just recreate emunand through emunand9, but you don't need to. Just leave it.

Lol that's an exploit. Not a cfw. Aureinand? Cakes? Rx"tools"? Or Reinand?

Can we use a boot manager with a9lh to get into the hb menu? Last time I checked we couldn't.

1- copy all files from sd card to pc
    2-boot holding L+Y on to launch EmuNAND9.
3- select complete emu nand setup
    4- do not exit emunand9!!!
5- eject sd card through emunand9
6- copy all files back to sd card

i hope i m correct in all above steps
