Hacking A virgin NTSC-J console

I have bought a d2c japanese console that has no chip, no homebrew channel... nothing...

I plan to get it modded with wiikey2, does it work like the wiikey?

Say I got it modded, can I change the region of the chip to ntsc-j/ntsc-us/pal anytime I want?
I plan to use anyregion changer to install pal 3.2 system menu into it... since modders are not much into software stuff probably I won't be tweaking out at the modder's place so I need to be sure I could get it working when I get it to home...

dunno bout the modchip but the anyregion changer works well i now have a ntsc-u wii

but be sure to match the region of your chip and the region of your system menu cause if your chip is like in ntsc-j then your sysmenu is PAL, game disc wont work,BUT you can tweak it in the anyregion changer by changing the "game disc region" something like that to the region of your chip

Well basically I'm in need of a chip that it's region can be changed through bootdisks... old wiikey was like that I guess

Successfully converted to pal, installed 3.2 system menu

next week it will get a wiikey2 modchip
