Hacking A small question before starting the downgrade process

I just bought a 3ds xl which is on 11.0

I didn't configure the wifi setting to my internet router and the wifi switch is turned off on the 3DS..

Should I configure the setting and turn the wifi switch on before I start the whole process?

Yep. Internet is very important.

Downgrading a version 11 system requires you to have 2 3DSes. 3DS #1 (3DS on version 11) and 3DS #2 (3DS that already has CFW)

Yes, since you will need to connect to the internet to be able to do system transfer. Im assuming you'll be using dsiwarehax since you're on 11.0

You don't need internet for hardmod afaik
