Is it possible To Hack Ps3 Via The LAN Jack Via A Computer?
Also A Thought That Came To Mind Was What If It Were possible To trick A ps3 Into Thinking It Was Reciving An OFW Update Via PSN But It Was Being Sent By A PC Via LAN And It Was A CFW Not OFW If We Can make this type of thing possible we might be able to hack alot more of the ps3 firmware features. Mind You this is just a thought so dont flame and stuff.

AFAIK, this is not possible because in order for the PS3 to think the CFW is OFW we would have to have the keys for 4.00, which we don't have. This is how we achieved 3.55 CFW, geohot found the keys (I think, not 100% on this). Also, Do Not Type Like This, You Look Stupid.

also to install a cfw you only need the .pup, so the lan would be completely usless
