I just ordered a DSTWO+, and from what I understand it can play 3DS games, but only on older versions of the 3DS's firmware.

I'm not actually planning on using it for 3DS games however, so if my New 3DS has the most recent firmware on it, can I still use my DSTWO+ on it without bricking it?

Yes, you can use it in DS mode.

Just so you know, it's AWESOME at DS stuff. But... it'll drain your battery quick. Even in sleep mode.

The only thing that will cause a brick is attempting to launch the GW emulation and the GW launcher.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • NinStar @ NinStar:

@BigOnYa, How do I make enemies respawn on gdevelop after
    the player dies?

Squeeze your cheeks twice to answer calls!
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
