no..... downgrade from 9.2+ to 9.2 is safe(safe doesn't mean 100% rate, but you can always force update to 10.7 if you get a soft brick when dg to 9.2), you won't get a real brick.

you can't backup your nand w/o hardmod if you are on 9.3 or above.

I'm paranoid because I don't have a way to get into HBL on 10.7. I do have Oot3d, but I don't have a save manager.

well... for a9lh updated sysnand is another thing (technically, updated sysnand does not have higher version firm though)

you can use save manager on 10.3 iirc.
install 10.7 oothax, good to go


edit: you don't have to use save manager... you can install oothax with browerhax on 10.3

yes, I have done that to downgrade my 9.9 hyrule n3dsxl

cuz the crash is cause by the failure of installing native_firm

I feel like its normal that first time downgrade failed on 10.7 below....
