Hardware A few questions about GC Replacement top

Hi guys,

I'm planning to buy a replacement top for my GC so it'll read full size dvd's

The problem is; I don't know where to get one?

Wich brand is the best or does that not matter?

Why not just get mini dvd-r's to use instead? They're way cooler in the gamecube than full size discs... plus to use full size discs you have to do some laser tweaking.

agree'd... miniDVD's can be bought all over the place... for about the same price...

go to almost any camera store too... one game per disc sucks, but hey, you don't HAVE to mod your GC then...

Oh yeah, do you really need to do laser tweaking?

Yea you have to play with the laser because they are only programed to follow the smaller disks. If you just put in a disk without messing with it it wouldn't read like half the disk.

Daar en nog in Nederland ook
