I recently obtained my otp. My biggest fear is an accidental update to my sysnand and losing all the fun stuff.
1) Does installing a9lh protect me from that? i.e. If i update my sysnand to say 10.6 could i just use decrypt9 to flash back to 9.2?
2) once a9lh is installed is it always installed? Even through system updates?
3) During the process of getting otp we flash 2.1 to our systems essentially downgrading them. Why cant we use the same method to downgrade any version?

Btw, i'm currently running 9.2 sysnand menuhax coldbooting to reinand emu 10.6. Still a little skeptical about installing my compiled a9lh because i don't fully understand the benifits. Any info greatly appreciated thanks:)

1) Yes you can downgrade your version using decrypt9 with your sysnand/emunand backup.
2) No, the a9lh it installs in sysnand, if you use decrypt9 for install a backup of your sysnand and the sysnand in the time you do the backup don't have the a9lh installed, the a9lh it uninstalls. For the queston of the system updates I don't know.
3) Sorry I don't understand this question :/

Thanks for the answeres! In question 3 i'm asking this.. I took me emunand and downgraded it to 2.1 then unbricked it and flashed it to system witch downgraded my system. Why can't others stuck on 10.6 use this method to get to 9.0? Or use this method to get to 2.1 and use a game to update to 9.0. But the question is no longer relevant in light of memchunk3. Again thanks for all your answeres:)
