It's a much more reliable and safe exploit for cfw. Themehax is outdated now, and the process for a9lh is much safer and simpler than it was before.
ill try this. last question. the entry point for theme hax is pressing R button while booting. how to do it on a9lh?

a9lh is installed to your nand, and automatically launches cfw and sysnand (or emunand if you have that for some reason). This does require an sd card in your ds though to boot without more tinkering.

ok thanks. how will i know that i am already at a9lh? this didnt mention on guide
  1. You can take out your SD card and turn on your 3DS. If it fails to boot and turns itself off without an SD card, you have A9LH installed.
  2. Put a bin payload onto your 3DS. If it boots the payload immediately after you turn on your 3DS, you have A9LH installed.
Just follow the guide.

I did this today, it takes about an hour. the only part that takes long is backing up your 3ds near the end. It was a really simple process. I restored my REI 11.1 emunand over to my a9lh installation no problems. And when you want to switch to a bigger sd card later on, all you do is copy every file over to the new sd card, and your 3ds is good to go.

When you are following the guide, there's a section near the end that walks you through how to move your emuNAND to sysNAND. No worries.
i forgot to ask about updating. is it the same method on emunand? it is also direct update?

Once you have A9LH setup, you can update your system however you want (through System Settings, etc.). Luma3DS will block A9LH from being overwritten.
so in part 3 section iv number 10 where im updating, the update stops at 10%. until now its updating. but not progressing. is it normal? and btw i have 3 black app on my home menu. what is that?
