Gaming 8bitdo and Nintendo Wii

I’m going to buy a Wii (modded) and I’m wondering if you can sync a wireless 8bitdo controller to the original Wii and play with it if so how many controllers? And will I need the adapters ? I’ve been searching everywhere and I haven’t been able to get an answer anywhere someone please help!!

1 - Retro receiver;
2 - Wii remote with motion plus build. (not work with motion plus adapter+regular wiimote)

You won't need a retro receiver, you can pair up via bluetooth.
