Hacking 5.5.0 progress

OMG... I'm devastated. I spent a fortune buying a second wii u (5.3.2), shipping ($85) from US to Canada, duty fee ($100). I blocked the updates using tubhax but somehow the DNS was reset and updated to 5.5.1. How could this happen?! My old wii u is still being blocked at 5.5. I have no words....

I am unfortunate to announce that no kernel releases will happen for a while, the basic answer to what was going to happen soon was literally "nothing". I don't see why NWP made that "weekend" thing an actual thing (which GBATemp is horrible at reacting to), because it just makes it worse.

I dunno. I kinda like hearing that things are progressing. It breaks up some of the monotony of sorting through all the garbage threads for anything of substance. Plus the reactions on here make me laugh.

Yeah but patching something which has not been released yet could take some verrrrrrry long time, or even never be patched at all ! That's why this logic doesn't hold up at all.

Tell him that the NX is nearing the end of production and there is like only one good game coming out before the NX then the Wii U is over. That is.. If he is concerned about piracy.
